Wild Texas Film Tour: Conservation Hits The Big Screen

In the ever-aspiring spirit of living wild and free, EPIC has teamed up with some of our favorite people to support the creation of the Wild Texas Film Tour! This 11-city film festival features inspiring adventure and conservation stories that embody the spirit of our company. But more than that, the tour will showcase important preservation issues, embolden viewers to engage in grassroots efforts, and increase recruitment for local environmental organizations. It’s the whole package.

Hosted by esteemed filmmaker and conservationist Ben Masters, this film series will have a little bit of everything. They’re still ironing out the details, but each screening will be approximately three hours long, will feature two speakers, and will have a before or after party area for attendees to meet with supporting conservation organizations. One thing you can count on: EPIC will be onsite for each screening with copious sums of meat snacks. As the sole representative from the agricultural space on the tour, we hope to educate consumers on the critical responsibility of food companies as it relates to environmental preservation. More so, we hope to continue connecting consumers with the source of their food while showing them how personal purchasing patterns represent a “vote” for either conservation or degradation of wild spaces. Every screening represents a chance to spread the word on these core company values.

Of course, we’ve been involved in the Texas conservation community for some time. That’s why we’ll be showcasing our 100% wild-caught boar bar that is exclusively sourced in Texas. By targeting a destructive invasive species for our products, the wild boar bar has created an opportunity for environmental regeneration, the creation of nourishing food, and a much-needed economic stimulus for rural counties in Texas. It’s a win-win-win. This is the pioneering spirit in which consumer revolutions are born, and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of a film tour devoted to accelerating the formation and preservation of the wild.

In addition to EPIC Provisions, this film series was made possible by YETI, Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation, Stewards of the Wild, The Borderlands Research Institute and King Land & Water. Book your tickets today and learn more at Wild Texas Film Tour. We look forward to celebrating our public lands with you as well as inspiring consumers to explore wild spaces.

See y’all at the movies!
